Vulnerability Liberated

This exhibition was an exploration of vulnerability as both an artist and a woman. Not only was it her first time showcasing purely figure works, but it was also the first exhibition held in Katherine’s own home. This deeply personal collection was a combination of oil paintings, sketches, and Katherine’s first-ever sculptures.

“I have always been fascinated by the intricacies of the human experience, particularly the constant interplay between positive and negative thoughts, the eternal struggle we as humans seem to deal with on a daily basis.”

After a number of years living in city-spaces like London and Paris, Katherine’s speech during the exhibition questioned “why conversations revolve primarily around career successes. I yearn for a space where we can openly discuss and embrace the negative aspects of life, encouraging a deeper sense of connection and understanding among one another.

”In a world that often encourages us to hide our imperfections and weaknesses, I invite you to confront them head-on, to recognize that vulnerability is not a flaw but a gateway to authenticity and growth.”
