The Last Remaining
November 2023 – In support of Save the Rhino International
The Last Remaining exhibition was my first ever group show, and what an unforgettable experience it was. I think that one of my favourite things is to collaborate with people I respect and admire. The exhibition gave me the chance to work with two incredible wildlife photographers - George Benjamin and Lara Jackson - and all in the name of Save the Rhino.
The evening brought together so many wonderful people—art lovers, conservationists, and friends—all connected by a shared love of our wild world. Everyone I spoke with was full of warmth and purpose, and it reminded me why I do what I do: to celebrate, protect, and give a voice to the wildlife that cannot speak for itself.
A Shared Mission
This exhibition was held in support of the incredible team at Save the Rhino International, whose work continues to inspire me. Rhinos are extraordinary, gentle giants—and yet they’re among the most endangered animals on the planet. By supporting them, we protect entire ecosystems. They are what we call an umbrella species: safeguarding them means safeguarding countless other creatures and habitats, too.
The evening wasn’t just about art—it was about connection. Every person who came, every painting discussed, every donation made became part of a ripple effect that reached far beyond the gallery walls.
Creative Collaboration
Lara Jackson and George Benjamin’s passion for conservation shines through everything they do. I’ve always admired their work, and learning from them throughout this process was such a gift. It’s amazing how creativity in all its forms—painting, photography, storytelling—can come together to create something meaningful and hopeful.
A Celebration of Hope
Though the subject of extinction can feel heavy, The Last Remaining was, at its heart, a celebration. A celebration of what still remains, and of what can still be saved. The night reminded me that when people unite around something they love, change becomes possible.
That sense of togetherness—of community, creativity, and purpose—is what keeps me painting. Each exhibition is its own small act of hope, and I’m so grateful to everyone who continues to believe in that hope with me.
