Where does my art go?

This week, I've been thinking a lot about where my paintings go. It's strange, putting so much of myself into each artwork and then sending them out into the world, perhaps to never see again. It feels sort of like writing a love letter and then mailing it to someone you just met.

There’s something very humbling about knowing my work hangs in private collections around the world, from the UK to France, Germany, Italy, the UAE, South Africa, Tanzania, Mauritius, Australia, and even New Zealand.

I wonder how my art changes people's spaces. I'm not shy when I use colour! Do they buy the piece to fit their room, or do they adjust their room to fit the art?

Some spaces are made for big, impactful art.

I hope my paintings, especially the wildlife ones, evoke an emotion in the people who see them every day. I hope they feel inspired, protective of our world, and uplifted. Does that sound too idealistic? I'm ok with being a little idealistic.

So, if you have one of my paintings—where is it now?
What does it sit beside?

Who sees it every day?

What does it make you feel?

I’d love to see a photo, or even just hear about where it’s found its home.
